The Galaxy electronic ballast features the exclusive Smart Volt feature allowing the ballast to run on either 120 or 240V. Simply change the cord to run 240V. Electronic ballasts operate using electronic circuitry rather than traditional core & coil magnetic components. This electronic ballast is also energy efficient offering 5-12% energy savings and 99.9% power factor. The Galaxy Electronic Ballast also features constant wattage output with no flickering resulting in perfect illumination. Other features include soft starting which increases bulb life and reduces lumen depreciation, quiet operation and rubber feet to reduce noise and vibration. The Galaxy 400W Electronic Ballast is also lightweight at just 11lbs. This 400 watt electronic ballast includes a 6ft. 120V detachable power cord. Purchase 240V power cord separately and 15 or 25ft Cord with mogul socket separately.
