just 2½" This This 4ft 4 bulb - 216W fluorescent aquarium light includes 95% German aluminum Tek Reflectors for superior reflectivity. All Aquarium Tek Lights come complete with Giesemann German T5HO Fluorescent bulbs. Choose from AquaBlue Plus, 6000K Midday, Actinic Plus or Pure Actinic. You can also mix the T5 bulbs by selecting one of the "Mix" options to the right to receive three of each T5 fluorescent bulb of your choice. If you do not see the bulb combination that you would like you can request any combination in the comments section of your order during checkout.
Aquarium T5 Tek Lights feature 2 - 8ft. grounded power cords and two power switches
for better lighting control. One switch
controls the inner fluorescent tubes while the other
controls the outer fluorescent tubes. Other features include
a solid state electronic ballast that is enclosed inside the fixture and does not emit heat, noise or vibration. Easily hang the Tek Fixture with the optional cable
hanger system that allows raising and
lowering. The optional Tek Light tank mounting bracket mounts to standard size (24", 36", 48", or 72") glass or acrylic aquarium tanks and comes prepared for use with glass tanks with a plastic rim as used on All-Glass.™ A protective acrylic
lens is also available.
