400W Ushio UHI Metal Halide 10K Aquarium Bulb Pulse Start

This German made Ushio/UHI 400 Watt Aquarium Light Bulb features the best combination of color balance, color rendering and light output for healthy marine aquarium and reef system lighting. This 10,000K USHIO Aqualite aquarium bulb emits a crisp with light similiar to natural sunlight. The Ushio Aqualite 10K bulbs have a high color temperature (90CRI) from a single point source that stimulates the appearance of sunlight near the equator in ocean depths of approximately 5 meters. The 400W aquarium light bulb fits in all of our Aquarium Lighting Hoods and Reflectors. This Ushio lamp requires a Pulse Start Ballast with ignitor (M135) to run properly and should be switched off for at least 15 minutes each week.
