The high frequesncy output results in loser pwer loss. Other features include fast startup reaching full brightness in under one minute, small compact design and less heat ouput. Includes the exclusive Smart Volt feature allowing the ballast to run on either 120 or 240V. Simply change the cord to run 240V. (Purchase the 240V cord separately).
