Every complete grow light system includes either a standard Metal Halide or Standard HPS bulb. You can upgrade for an additional cost to any bulb of your choice. HPS grow light systems include the following bulb upgrade options: enhanced bulbs such as Eye Hortilux Super HPS, Philips, Ushio Hi Lux, GE Lucalox, or Sunmaster Red. Upgrade your bulb on the product page by selecting that bulb upgrade on the pull down menu near the order button. HPS bulbs produce a red/orange spectrum that promotes fruiting, flowering and budding. HPS light bulbs will speed up and increase plant growth during the fruiting and flowering stages. HPS grow light bulbs should be used as secondary or supplemental lighting when used with natural sunlight. HPS light bulbs are also ideal for Greenhouse/Commercial growing applications.
