If you are having trouble with your ballast, bulb or fixture, read the
trouble shooting information here before requesting to return the item.
Returns & Exchanges
- Standard stocked
merchandise that is unused
and in the original packaging may be returned
or exchanged within 30 days of purchase.
- Built
to order items including ballasts with ANY special wiring, commercial greenhouse fixtures, and grow boxes are not returnable.
- All returns incur a 15% re-stocking charge and shipping
charges are not refundable.
- To return
or exchange an item you will
need a Return
Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns
received without an appropriate RMA number
will not be accepted and credit will not
be issued.
- If you are having trouble with your Sun System ballast, HPS/MH bulb T5 bulb or T5 Fluorescent Fixture, please read the trouble shooting information before requesting an RMA.
- Defective merchandise (Sun System Ballasts, T5 Fixtures, Reflectors) will be repaired or replaced per the manufacturer's warranty. Before merchandise can be sent in for repair, you must complete the trouble shooting procedures found here. If the merchandise needs to be repaired an RMA will be issued. You will receive a pre paid shipping label and RMA form for your return shipment. If you have performed the necessary trouble-shooting steps and are CERTAIN your merchandise is defective Request an RMA#.
- Damaged merchandise (i.e. damaged in shipping) will be repaired or replaced per the manufacturer's warranty. Before merchandise can be sent in for repair, you must complete some trouble shooting procedures found here. If the merchandise needs to be repaired an RMA will be issued. You will receive a pre paid shipping label and RMA form for your return shipment. If an item cannot be repaired due to extensive damage in shipping we will determine whether the merchandise needs to be returned (usually applies to shattered bulbs). Once we verify the merchandise is not able to be repaired or returned due to extensive damage we will notify you of the next steps. If possible email us a photo of the damaged product to verify damage.
- If the defective or damaged product (MH/HPS bulbs, T5 bulbs and Galaxy Ballasts only) is needed quickly, you have the option of placing a new order online or via phone for replacement merchandise to ship out as soon as
possible. We will send an RMA form and Pre-Paid shipping label via regular mail or email. Once the merchandise is inspected and if found to be defective appropriate credit will be issued. This does not apply for Sun System ballasts, fixtures and reflectors that are under manufacturer's warranty. The only exception is Galaxy ballasts, HPS/MH Light Bulbs and T5 Bulbs. However you must be certain the item is defective before using this option. If the product is found to be in working order you will not receive credit and will be charged for shipping charges due for the return shipment.

Cancellations
You may cancel
an order if it has not entered the
shipping process. If the order has
already begun the shipping process
you will have to follow the return
procedure above. To cancel an order
call 888-765-6380 or fill out a cancellation form. Note, we offer price matching. If
