Sunlight Supply's new line of T5 Tek Lights are the latest addition to their line of grow light & aquarium lighting systems. The Tek Light grow lights have a sleek, slim design and are light-weight. Tek Light T5s can be used for propagation or full term lighting in grow light applications.
The Grow Light Tek Lights come in 4ft. with 2, 4, 6 or 8 bulbs. The Tek Light (grow light model only) includes your choice of 54W bulbs either 3000K for budding & flowering or 6500K for plant growth or a combination of both. The aquarium line of Tek Lights comes in 2ft, 3ft or 4ft models and takes 2, 4, 6 or 8 bulbs. Choose from a wide selection of T5 HO bulbs including Aqua, Actinic, Sun or Blue. Bulbs are not included with Aquarium Tek Lights.
T5 high output fluorescent lighting is a relatively new light source in the United States but is quickly gaining in popularity. T5 Fluorescent lighting has had great success in Europe for years. T5 Fluorescent lighting was originally developed as a light source in combination with specialized reflectors for aquarium lighting. However, the T5 technology has been found to be successful in plant grow applications.
T5 fluorescent bulbs are 5/8" diameter fluorescent tubes rather than the standard 1-1/2" diameter. This slim profile makes T5 fluorescents more efficient than standard fluorescent tubes. T5 fluorescent bulbs also put out more light than standard fluorescent lamps, power compacts and VHOs.
